For the first time in a long time a Master Mason degree was conferred in full form at St. John's Lodge No. 6.
The officers of the lodge, with the help of the District 1 Degree Team led by Past Grand Master Walter Kaechele, raised Brothers Jim De Pasquale, Bob Talloni, Jason Conte, Todd White, and Rick Gentile to the sublime degree of Master Mason. It was an night that all who attended will remember for a long time. We thank PGM Kaechele and the degree team for their outstanding ritual work and look forward to helping our visiting brethren in the future.

June Message From The East |
Brethren,
We have reached the halfway point. Soon the lodge will grow dim for the summer months. Our thoughts will be of vacations, time with family and friends, cookouts and trying to keep cool.
This has been a most exciting period for St. John’s! Already Bros. Morris and Agostino have presided in the east (for a EA and FC degree respectively), and have both received their certificates of proficiency. We have seen an explosion of membership, with eight brothers in various stages of Masonic stature. We participated once again in the Memorial Day Parade, and walked (or rode) with 28 brothers from the three Norwalk lodges. After the parade, I was approached by someone interested in freemasonry who exclaimed, “I didn’t realize there were that many masons in Norwalk!” Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could get more of the fraternity to join us? If we could develop a float for next year? What impact would we have if we had 50, 100 brothers walking side-by-side through the streets of Norwalk? Think about how we can convince more of the fraternity to join us when talking to your brothers over the summer.
